I've seen some good haiku and poetry lately (written by my dad, and some other poetry written by his friend at the Carbondaley Dispatch) and I thought I'd put in my two cents' worth:
There once was a loyal blog slogger
Who bragged to his friends "I'm a blogger!"
But everyone knew
He couldn't Haiku
His blogs slogged which wasn't a shocker
So one day I started thinking
I should make sure my blog's not stinking
A limerick was slogged
And posted to my blog
Now my readers will be cheered and go drinking
