The even BETTER news is that I got a totally freaking awesome score on an NIH grant that I applied for... the application process was painful (and painful, and painful again) but it ended up being worth all the pain in the end... not only did I learn a lot from the application and revisions process but then I ended up scoring well (eventually)!! I won't find out for a few months whether I actually get money, and in this funding climate it's never good to assume anything, however I scored well within the range that was funded on the last round so things look good.

I love Aveda products--beware though, they are addictive. This is a problem because they are so expensive!
Congrats on your NIH score--good scores are hard to come by and you should be proud of it no matter what happens with the funding situation. Those applications really put you through hell!
Oh, I may look that one up when I need to buy the next bottle.
Congrats- that's awesome! (About both the shampoo and the grant score!) ;)
Glad to hear about your NIH score, that is awesome. And Aveda does rock. I use their hair paste stuff and it rocks.
Uncle KT - thanks! I think you're right about Aveda being addictive. It's like the fancy cocaine of street drugs.
Peggy - definitely do! it's a good one, especially if you have wavy hair that sticks out all over the place, like me. I also recommend the Rosemary Mint, which is also divine.
MJ - yes, I thought they were both good enough to put in the same post... thanks!!
Newt - I think I know of this hair paste you speak of. My Studly Hubby has used it of yore. Pretty much everything I've ever used/heard of from Aveda is worth the money.
