I pose a question:

Is it wrong to pick your neighbor's berries?

What if the berries are between the sidewalk and the road?

What if the berries are hanging out over the sidewalk?

What if nobody else is picking the berries?

I appreciate all input! I have been wondering this for a while now...

... ps I had some delicious rasberries tonight!

I say pick 'em! I would.
If your worried, pick them when these neighbours are at work. ;-)

If they aren't eating them go for it! Are they really the neighbors or are they wild? Hmmm, maybe you should do it after dark. tee hee

I'll be the first to diverge here...

While I would like to say that picking berries that don't belong to you IS NOT a very big deal and I'm sure that most rational people wouldn't care--and would be happy that someone is enjoying them...If a neighbor left their car unlocked on the street for weeks at a time with the keys on the front seat---it would still be wrong to take it for a ride to the store without asking first.

So technically if you want to be completely in the clear---knock on the door! You may make a friend in the process!

Hmmm, you have all given me many important points to consider.

I particularly like the points made by Peggy and Susan.

However the perspective of each of the KTs is not so favorable :)

thanks for your feedback...

You can pick your neighbors, and you can pick your berries, but you can't pick your neighbor's berries.

You can, however, climb the tree. And the berries that are up there are anybody's.
