New Orleans

My deepest sympathy goes out to all those in New Orleans dealing with the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. Even the locals in Denmark are aware of it and share their concern. I hope the rest of the United States can lend their support to make this difficult time better.

Do you think the city let the poor people die on purpose (like the media says)? Supposidly the evacuation was informal, so all those with cars and money got out, and all the black people died. I read on boing boing that it was some sort of cleansing of the city of the lower class.

I have no idea if there is ANY truth to this, but it's pretty disgusting.
