GOBAMA!

I typically don't like to put politics up on my blog, but tonight I can't help it. Obama won! And boy, does he know how to deliver a speech. And he's so handsome too!

"We have never been a collection of red states and blue states: we are, and always will be, the UNITED STATES"

Oh, my! (swoon!)

And kudos goes out to one of my little brothers who made it out to Chicago tonight to watch it all go down. Li'l bro - I hope you didn't wet your pants tonight! What an amazing night.

It's amazing isn't it? I was so happy and proud. I cried when it was announced. I cried when my brother called (He was crying) and I cried when my mom called (she wasn't crying but was close). I haven't cried that much in a long time. I was so very excited. Obama (and the rest of us) have a long road ahead though!

What is it that women see in this guy? Should I grow my ears bigger?

From my avuncular point of view, Palin was not a bad looker. At least she wore some nice clothes.

I don't find him particularly attractive (he's not UNattractive though either)--but I do think that women more so than men find "power" to be attractive which might answer your question Uncle Bruce.

I think he's attractive, and not just because he's in power. He's just plain good looking, in my opinion. (he has a good smile! and attractive features!) Plus he eeks of calm and goodwill, which you have to like.

Clinton, on the other hand, was not very attractive to me.

But I do agree that women are attracted to power (and success). I have mentioned before that my Studly Hubby mysteriously became even MORE Studly when he got hired at Microsoft - thus I am also a sucker for power. But the man must be attractive in the first place for that to work.

Bruce is the avunculist guy I ever met. I met a Sarah Palin-look-alike at a Halloween party who had totally mastered the speech patterns, etc. It was spooky. Even worse, some sailor was hitting on her, and she kept asking us not to tell her husband. But, back to your point, Dr. P., how do you eek of calm and goodwill? I think I'll try. Not that I need to, I guess. But I could use some $150,000 outfits. And a Microsoft corporate spa-jacuzzi.

Time to take a break
